When my daughter was about 10 or 11, we had finished checking out at Kroger and started heading for the exit with my girl pushing the cart when a female Kroger employee came running up yelling “she can’t push that cart, there’s alcohol in it”! I was kinda caught off guard, and it took a second for the idiocy of the situation to sink in, I just smiled at the Kroger lady and wished her a nice day and motioned my daughter to keep moving. :)

It seems that the more likely someone is to say "what the law is", the more likely it is they will be WRONG.

So did the governor sign this thing yet? Why the delay?

    https://iga.in.gov/legislative/2018/bills/senate/1

    Latest actions:

S 02/27/2018 Signed by the President of the Senate
H 02/26/2018 Signed by the Speaker
S 02/26/2018 Signed by the President Pro Tempore

So, it looks like it only today got final signatures from IGA? And now it can go to the governor's desk?

Private signing ceremony tomorrow. Will be broadcast live on facebook.

I'll be buying a beer sunday. But it wont be at a liquor store. They are dead to me after all the BS their lobbyists pulled on this subject the past couple years. I wont spend a dime at an Indiana Liquor store unless there is absolutely no other place to buy it. Screw -em.
