I've owned one of the RD9 blades and handled plenty of the RD Hawks when Justin was making them in his garage in Columbus, GA - the originals form 5160 Busse apprentice blanks.

I was never fond of the grip. You get a lot of the same complaints with those blanks as the original Busse's - pinky pinch. Some people don't but I just never warmed up to those grips.

Justin is a stand-up guy though.

I picked up a SOG tactical tomahawk back in Feb. for CHEAP. Less than a week later it was being totally abused helping my Uncle in Henryville clean up from the tornado. I did things with it I had no business doing and it did it amazingly. I used it for 2 weekends and it never missed a beat.

Was the Randy Newman song your idea on the slide show? Bad ass hawk chopping a Toyoter in half, and "You've got a friend in me" in the background  . I really need a Grax. I love that Rift Valley version that Mike's putting out.

the Rift Valley variations on his stuff is awesome very cool!

and i laughed loudly when i opened the video the first time and it was all Toy Story... :patriot:
