As I recall from how it worked in Indiana and Wisconsin, it's not real "arrest" in the criminal law sense. They're not taken to jail or arraigned or charged. They are taken by force to the legislative chambers for quorum and then released at the conclusion of the session.

They can be confined if necessary to prevent them from fleeing again. Congress actually has holding cells in which they can be placed if needed by the Sergeant At Arms (with help of Federal Marshals). As I understand it they're quite ancient and very likely wouldn't be used - with other accommodations being used for confinement. Each state with this statutory or constitutional provision has their own specific procedures but in general it mimics Congress.

In other news, the five Texas Refugees who have tested positive for Wuhan Virus all claim they were double vaxed weeks ago, a statistical impossibility. I'll wait for them to provide proof of it that hasn't been forged. If they are telling the truth, the WH and President's claims that the unvaxed and anti-vaxers are the problem and causing continued cases are baldfaced lies.

The hypocrisy in them strong is -- as their Ministry of Truth begins to implode.
