    At the Ranch.
There's only like 2 companies that make all of the AR parts anyway. May as well buy the cheapest ones. They're all the same.

    those 2 companies being 'good/mil spec'-Inc and 'junk/jaga'-LLC . :)

I think you left off truing the receiver face.
I'm not into car-beans... just stopped by for the tasty :ingo:

You can PM nad63 he can give you the info on the discounts.

Bedford has several hotels about 15 min from the range most of us stay at the Quailty Inn or Super 8 Clean and cheap!
You also can camp at the range if you want.
We eat dinner at the Smokin Jim’s BBQ on Saturday night as rabble and have great conversations it’s a OC pistol friendly place so bring your BBQ pistol.

Its honestly a good time and a great value it's not a beginner course you need to have a basic knowledge of safe Carbine handling. It gives a shooter a chance to “run” you equipment and see what works and doesn’t you get a chance to shoot out to 200 yards and shoot the “mover”. The pressure of being timed and shooting in front of you peers is a blast. It’s also fun to see the people behind the screen names here on INGO.

I know it's WAY out of style, but READ A BOOK WRITTEN BY A PROFESSIONAL!
You will QUICKLY find you can't buy a rock solid AR for under $1,000
(It cost $1,000 for military grade or better parts, when you can find them)

I'm sorry, but the last AR I built was my M16A4 clone, and the only two parts on it that aren't military grade are the stripped upper (cheap blem) and lower (Aero A4). Every other part is either actual mil surplus or tier 1 level and it cost me in the neighborhood of $850 including the KAC RAS. And yes I actually own most of those AR gunsmithing manuals and ALL the military -10,-12 and -23 manuals. I fella just has to know how to shop around, what to look for and what all those material spec actually mean.
