This is exactly what was driving the Bush-the-First ban in 1990. "Evil looking weapons" as he called them. Remove the bayo lug, make it so you can't install a flash hider, and replace the pistol grip/separate stock combination with a Bush-hole stock. Suddenly your evil looking weapon becomes angelic.
Can't get much more stupid than the "Sporting Purpose" and the requirements of 922(r) / Title 27 CFR 478.39 which states 10 imported parts maximum in a semi auto long gun is ok, but 11 imported parts makes it an evil baby killing assault weapon.
