@ a Derm Appt in Columbus and let me tell ya IT.IS.RAININ'

Yep, I'm on the west side of Columbus...7/8" so far this morning.

Was a good morning for me to stay inside and reassemble the 3 CZ's I had apart to check out the workings for an earlier post.

Hoping it's over this afternoon when I want to go vote early.

Yeah I watched the Sootch00 video the other night on that. That was my one major complaint about that gun. Second (minor) complaint was mag capacity only 15rds of 9mm in a fullsize gun.

It has a 4" barrel, so isn't it a compact sized handgun? It's 4.09" and the P10 is 4.02" if I'm not mistaken. G17 is 4.49", a P226 is 4.4" and an M&P 9 is 4.25". Where exactly is the line drawn? :dunno:

I thought it had to do with the grip length. I believe when the size of the grip is compared to other "fullsize" guns that hold 17rds, the VP9 is the same size but holds 2 less rounds.

Ah, didn't even think about grip size. That's similar to the gripe I had with the Legion P226. Full size grip with only 15 round capacity. When many others have 17 or more rounds with the same size grip, that's a bit disappointing. Looking it up it's almost the exact same dimensions as the G17, so I guess it is a full size handgun. I didn't realize.

Small hands make it look bigger too. Wait, what?
I mean yeah the grip on the 226 is beefy. The glock mags revolutionized pistols

Have you tried the P226 Legion grips? A lot nicer than a standard P226 for sure. Loved my P226 Legion SAO until I decided I didn't want to deal with an external safety any more. That plus I didn't want to carry a $1200 gun in case it was ever used and confiscated. Much easier to deal with when the gun is ~$500.

I was holding one at my LGS on Monday, thinking it was a great size.
Next time I get my wife to the range I plan on having her shoot her Glock 42 and my P365. I'm hoping she shoots the Sig better, because it's really close to the same size as the G42, but will hold 10rds of 9mm in a flush mag versus 6rds of .380 in the 42.
