Two hours away from four (4) full weeks, knife-buying clean and sober.

The shakes have started to diminish a little. A little.

Don't I get a chip or something for making it four weeks?
Buying a knife for someone else might help take the edge off (pun intended). I have a birthday coming up.

    I'm now at 6 weeks, 1 day, 12 hours, and 53 minutes.

    Questions for the group:

    1. Do machetes count as knives?
    2. Does buying a knife (or machete) as a gift for someone else count?
    3. Does it change the answers if we pronounce it "mah CHET tay"?
    4. When the bandits come and we don't have guns, will we fight with our hands and our mah CHET tays?

    [STRIKE]7 weeks, 3 hours, 18 minutes[/STRIKE].

I realized this morning I'm off by a day! I was giving myself an extra day of credit for the last few reports. When I posted the mark above, it was actually 6 weeks, 6 days, 3 hours, and 18 minutes.

Right now I'm one hour and 18 minutes short of the 7 week milestone!

Hey rhino, I just ordered a Junglas in venom green with orange G10 scales. You should buy one too!

Enjoy your new Junglas it is a great knife. If memory serves correctly Rhino already owns a Junglas and actually carries it around his neck. Rhino I am here for you buddy. :):

    Whew! That was close!

And I only wear the Junglas as a neck knife when I'm not wearing my old Kershaw Outcast as a neck Knife. Both of them at the same time was a bit excessive even for me.

It's one of the sharpest new-from-the-factory/shop knives I've ever handled. It popped hair nicely, but it was polished a little too much on the edge, so I spent a few minutes making it a little grabbier. Now it's a slicing demon!
