    Hmmmm....

I just read that many think the Russians bought the last election with $100,000 of facebook ads but Bloomberg couldn't buy one Democrat delegate with $500,000,000.

I don't see the convention deadlocking. Bernie will have to sweep the primaries. If it gets to the convention, Joe is in. His credible Super Tuesday showing gives him the nomination. It's his to lose. And, of course, that is possible. No certainties in this process.

Doesn't it bother you, just a little, that your last best hope is Abe Simpson?

Looking at the math - it seems like it is heading toward a brokered convention.

Is there any way that Sanders would back Biden? Even if he did, would his delegates vote that way at the convention? And vice versa?

And a Biden/Sanders ticket would be an almost certain loser.

Actually, no. Joe is just fine. He did a stupid thing with Beto, but it will correct in time. It seems that about 3 out of 10 democrat voters in the primary were senior citizens. Bernie's age group of 30 and unders didn't show. About 1 in 8 voters according to WaPo. The centrists voted and will turn out for the general election. The self-centered under 30's who are more interested in their neuroses probably won't. Not in the numbers needed to pull Bernie above Trump. But, a good centrist turnout and elder voting group will win it with Joe.

The sentiment clearly is: Beat Trump. Everything else is secondary.

No message about how to make things better for the people of this country, less taxes etc. ... sounds like a winning platform.

    "We've got to beat Trump!"

"What then? What are you going to do for America after you beat Trump?"

    "¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

Sanders won't be on Biden's ticket.

I agree. So what happens with Sanders' delegates? I know every state (district?) can make their own rules, but do you think Sanders will withhold an endorsement?

You are missing the point. Beat Trump. That's it. Get him out of the White House. Period.

I do. He's what, 78? Already has one punch in his ticket (heart attack). This is the last hurrah, there is absolutely nothing they can offer him. I think there is a very real chance he goes third party, perhaps Green

Exactly, they have nothing to offer. Yet you will pull that lever. (please, Pull the Lever is a phrase) Now divert as usual.

Nothing to offer you, and you're welcome to it.

There is no need to energize the base with far left demands. A calming message about focusing on the middle class, restoring dignity to the office and leadership to the free world....blah blah blah. And Ruth's replacement.

That's enough. Democrats by and large understand Joe and don't expect extreme positions. We won't get them from him.

Wall St will either be neutral or supportive of a Biden nomination. And he'll continue to get support from Wall St if he wins.

We want the Big Orange Man gone.

If that message isn't satisfying to you, no big deal. We don't expect you to vote for Joe.
