I think the .32acp is a great little round. Probably the best for a pocket pistol. I read that Patton carried one with him. Of course it totally depends on the brand of ammo. Throw some good ammo in a tomcat. Pretty impressive.:twocents:
    I have a FN 1910 in 32 acp, & it can't even penetrate the metal side of a computer:D

Have one and the reason is the other guys didn't want it. Their loss, a little tough to shoot, but if you can shoot it you shoot anything.

Let us start a thread about calibers that are dying, I'll start with the 41 MAGNUM, This was at least to me the perfect caliber, It can down any animal in AMERICA, but most people figure that 357 MAGNUM was enough for them & you can shoot 38 SPECIAL out of the same gun or The tough guys wanted more power & went with the 44 MAGNUM. The 41 MAG is an accurate round with less recoil of the 44 MAG.

Love my 41 mag S&W!! Taking it out with me this season. Can't wait. I like it much better than the 44, but I hate the cost of ammo.

    Guess I'd better reload.

    Interesting thread.
There's a lot of calibers posted I wouldn't think of as "Dying".
Does prompt the question, at what point do you consider a caliber to be dying?
    Or dead for that matter?
To me, a caliber is dying if you can't get a new gun chambered for it.
Dead would be if you can't get factory ammunition any more.
But that's just me....what do you guys think?

dying calibers dont forget the dying "guages"

16 guage, 28 guage...shot shell. ( tetering with a small comeback) but still difficult to find.

both used when I was younger but harder and harder to find. ( unless you reload).
