We'll know if there is anything to it and it starts to gain attention...there'll be a plane crash, a horrific snow storm (ie one that hits the DC area), a mass shooting somewhere and *POOF* it'll be old news and long forgotten.

Methinks you’re giving the MSM too much credit. They won’t need any natural disasters in order to motive them to gloss over it if it turns out to be anything. They’ll just ignore it, or spin it, whatever makes Trump look worse.

Yep. But they often use a tragedy to grab attention for a few news cycles to break the news cycle and then "move on".

If there is anything to it, they'll first try to make it sound like nothing. If that doesn't work they'll find some reason to cover something else. Can't lose the cash cow that is the Russia frenzy.

It would certainly require a level of discipline he often lacks.

Of course if the press didn't jump on every tweet like a kitten on a laser dot, he might quit.

It's a mutual arrangement. MSM gets to make money on manufactured hyperbolic frenzy, and Trump gets a dopamine hit.

It has proven to be a good distraction device for the president. I'm surprised the media is so tunnel visioned in their efforts to overturn the election they keep falling for it.

I think Democrats are putting forth efforts to overturn the election. Undoubtedly, rank and file reporters are in the #resistance. But the MSM executives are just milking the cow. I kinda think they don't want him to be impeached until that cow is wrung dry.

It can't be that good and not have already been leaked by the worst keepers of secrets in the world. Both sides of Congress are notorious for leaking information, particularly if they think there is political gain to have.
