I need to get a list of the plants that attract them. I lost mine from last year. CKW wants this to happen.

I'm threatening to finally landscape the front yard, including flowering bushes for the humdingers.
But what you have to do to save things from the deer... Jeepers nerf!
Maybe the hummers can fly between the bars.
    :)

Working up a list of native candidates (flowering bushes and vines that hummers like) is in the works.

Been putting mandarins cut in half in a suet holder for the orioles.
Momma is really shy but pappa comes right up on the porch and chatters at us.
Spotted a tree they go to. Are they raising a family? Do they nest here? We hope so. They can have just all the wasps they want!

They love the hyacinth bean vines that I have climbing on a fence here every year. It's an annual so I just save seeds each fall to plant the following spring.

Thanks for the tip. I'm planning for next year.

Papa oriole was hopping up on the suet holder and flying back over to the bird feeder pole, back and forth. So I checked the orange halves and the banana; picked clean.
Quickly did the fruit refills and sat down on the porch swing. Pappy did a fly by of the fresh fruit, stopped and chattered at me.
Then took off the way he came.
Heard him chattering around the corner calling Momma.

On the hummer feeders, the ruby throated have finally showed up.
