Women's March founder denounces Linda Sarsour and other current chiefs who "allowed anti-Semitism, anti-LBGTQIA sentiment & hateful, racist rhetoric to become a part of the platform by their refusal to separate themselves from groups that espouse these racist, hateful beliefs."

Somehow my inner cynic thinks that pro-life women would still not be welcome no matter who runs that hot mess

So the person who started the “woman’s march” sees though the veil and understands what’s going on?

The Linda Sarsour situation has been reaching a boiling point over the past year or so. It's a good PR move for them to finally address it and denounce her. Her movement was being co-opted by an anti-Semite, and they were being called out by people on "their side" like CNN.

    Some Women's March

Progressive feminists are undermining the mission of marching in solidarity by excluding pro-life women.

In Converging Marches On Washington, Deep Divides Remain
Last year, a rift emerged between abortion rights opponents and organizers of the Women'sMarch. March organizers revoked partnership status from New Wave Feminists, a group that opposes abortion rights. Organizers say the march is open to women of all political affiliations, but also affirmed that the march supports "open access to safe, legal, affordable abortion and birth control for all people, regardless of income, location or education." That division continued this year, opponents of abortion rights said.

“We are fraught with stuff, and so if that is the case, then the single most important thing we have to invest in is ... people,” the former president continued. “We have got to get people to figure out how they work together in a cooperative, thoughtful, constructive way.”

People "literally can remake the world right now," Obama also said during his speech, while adding that he believes the world "badly needs remaking."

Uh. Okay. Where to start. Maybe the world doesn't need remade? That's a place to start. Some people want to change the world. Some people want the world to stay exactly where it is. But the world does what it does. It's the cumulative output of individuals and beliefs and actions. The object shouldn't be to change the world to mold it into whatever you want. Or, to prevent it from evolving to be socially better in a consensus sort of understanding of "better". I think "better" could be to expand the principles of enlightenment rather than shun them. The west kinda had this thing figured out, how to order society such that it can eliminate the need for wars. And right now, the place where we need to be closer to is a more ecumenical state of relations between factions.

Obama thinks the world has to change his way, despite the people who don't agree. I'm quite certain that getting "people to figure out how they can work together in a cooperative, thoughtful, constructive way" doesn't involve marginalizing the world views you disagree with by calling dissenters racists and whatnot. Obama has been a real dick (well, maybe he's just borrowing Michelle's) all along. This isn't any different MO from his bitter-clinger speech. This is typical Obama. Hiding his far left-wing divisiveness in inclusive language.
