I was trying to find an easy afghan pattern to teach to a friend. Her grandson is getting married and she wants to make an afghan for the gift. She is 76 and has not crocheted since her grandma taught her when she was a little girl so this should be interesting. She wanted to know how long it will take her and how much yarn she needs. I have no idea what pattern she wants to use, how big she wants to make it or how fast she will be able to crochet.
