From the article: "Today, Obama says we need the Patriot Act to fight the war on terror—which is what its defenders have said from the beginning."

Huh. I never knew Obama was a Republican...
While I never liked how the Bush Administration supported the Patriot Act (how they created of the TSA gives me shivers and coined the term "Homeland Security"), the Obama Administration makes the Bush Admin look like child's play. Neither party will deny this bill. BOTH are equally to blame for this monstrosity.

Looks like it up for renewal again. Republicans continue to be the party of tyranny.

The U.S. Senate is about to reauthorize the Patriot Act and no one is talking about it | Rare
    Yeah.... about that.....
    http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2010/0301/Obama-signs-Patriot-Act-extension-without-reforms
"President Obama signed a one-year extension of three sections of the USA Patriot Act on Saturday without any new limits on the measures that many liberal groups and Democrats said were necessary to safeguard American civil liberties."

Patriot Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"On Saturday, February 27, 2010, President Barack Obama signed into law legislation that would temporarily extend for one year three controversial provisions of the Patriot Act that had been set to expire"
"On May 26, 2011, President Barack Obama used an Autopen to sign the PATRIOT Sunsets Extension Act of 2011, a four-year extension of three key provisions in the USA PATRIOT Act while he was in France"

Only two Senators did not vote for the Patriot Act. So 98, from both parties, voted in favour of it

Um, which is running the Senate right now?

AND, one Senator can stop it. Where is Rand Paul? Check your milk cartons.

Why does Rand Paul hate Liberty?

I f***ing better not hear one gd word about how Rand Paul is the only hope for Liberty after he bails on the Patriot Act. Not one word.

Where is Rand Paul? Why isn't he stopping this? Why does he hate Liberty?

Where is GOA? Why aren't they stopping this?

Where is SAF? Why are they letting this happen?

Where all these heroes of INGO and why isn't INGO calling them out?

Hmmm, it's like INGO is disingenuous or lying hypocrites or something.

A judge said the patriot act is okay.

    Nothing else matters.
