    ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!! You do not shoot to kill! You shoot to stop the assailant, and you keep shooting until he/she/they cease being a threat. But you do not shoot with the intent to kill outright. It may be an unfortunate side effect of the whole "ceasing to be a threat" scenario, but intending to kill makes you a murderer.
