Ah. From listening to Shapiro, I'd guess he was forwarding the kinds of things we could expect to hear from the Left about anyone from the right that runs for office. Remember, they loved Trump right up until he registered as a Republican candidate.

I believe he was saying that the Dems will lie and say that stuff, but it could also mean that all of that is true.

To clarify, everything Shapiro said is true. The Dems can't afford to be decent to anyone vaguely conservative.
