Exactly. Also trump didn't pay people to attend his inauguration like the democrats have to.
Trump is president, and has won control of both houses of congress. The democrats lost huge!! That's all I need to know

I can't wait for four years of your responses on GOP screwups. :)

The Trump inaugural had lower attendance than Bush's second term inaugural.

To be fair if you add the people protesting/rioting in the streets of DC you would have the same number of people there.

Mmmmm - that's a close one. You're talking about his Brandenburg speech? His 2008 version comes to my mind as the most divisive, but I'll concede it is a close call.

No, not Brandenburg. I'm just referring to inaugural speeches. Obama was still in centrist pretense mode for his first inaugural address. His speech addressed the financial crisis and some typical Democrat talking points about market regulation and so on. During his first term he migrated to full on lefty, and by his second inaugural address in 2013, he left no doubt just how far from the center he was. That was a very leftward speech. In it he laid out his argument for a more socialist economy. His Speech made Carter look like a Capitalist.

As this day draws to a close so will this thread. He is now our President like it or not. That can be discussed in another thread so titled.
If someone cares to start one feel free.

Ah, right. If we're talking Inauguration speeches, then I'm right there with you. Those tend to be conciliatory to the point of apologetic.

Obama's 2013 Inauguration speech was certainly not.
