No updates posted so far today. I see he was on Facebook a little while ago so he is still alive...unless someone stole his phone.

He does like girls...thanks for putting that in my mind now. He did say he was couch surfing at some farm in the country. Maybe the farmer has a daughter.

Thanks. When he graduated high school, he initially started college for an engineering degree. He has scholarships to cover all but his housing and dropped out after a semester. When he decided to go back to school for his art, I was glad to see him using his talent. He has always had an eye for it, and it amazes me to watch him put things on paper or canvas. He can capture faces very well and loves to do portraits. My dad and I have both told him he really needs to think about a career as a sketch artist for the police. Faces are something not everyone can do.

He is much braver than I am. I don't think I could just set out into such a huge unknown and start walking around a foreign country!

He's been busy working on a commissioned piece the last few days so not much exploring...no blog update, but here is the finished work that he was hired to do along with a few sketches. He's working on another commissioned piece now.

He is still in Koln. He is going to Frankfurt, Heidelberg and then Munich this coming week. Time to move on!

Updates sketches and a photo of the Main Tower in Frankfurt. He spent some time at an art museum so I do believe some of these sketches are of things he saw there.
