    Oh, and yes, even at home, we are usually in different rooms. I can't stand all the noise he makes when he's on his puter. :D

    Same here. She has her office, I have mine. I feel guilty that we talk move over IM than we do in person, especially when we're both home at the same time. We even video conference over Skype because it's easier than going all the way to the other side of the house. :):

    I just don't want her to carry something that I want. I am going to start basic traing with a Walther P22. I want to make sure she is comfortable with the firearm. Training is key.

    If you're in the Indianapolis area. Pami and/or I could meet the two of you at Pop Guns one night after work. I've got a S&W .22a, a Sig Mosquito, and an H&K USP .45 you can get hands on with. If it's after Pami picks up her Sig (from having the rear sight re-aligned) you can add that to the list of hand guns she can try out.

    Also pops has an airweight (or whatever they call it.) .38 special with the bobbed hammer for carry, and at least one other small revolver you can rent. Send me a PM if you're in the area and interested.

    Hands on at the shop is great, Hands on at the range is better ;) Borrow guns from people, put them in your wife's hand, and help her make an informed decision for herself. I'm sure Pami will chime in. She started with the Mosquito, and was afraid of the 9mm. I think that's changed some now. Feel free to have your wife PM Pami through your account if she doesn't have her own. I'm certain she'll be happy to answer her(your wife's) questions.

    my jaw it the floor. She wants to get her LTCP and learn how to use a firearm and start to carry. I will not get into the details why, but I am extremly proud right now. I am going to get her a snubbie .38 of some sort. This is along way from what she use to be. She has always been a little anti-gun. I guess I am rubbing off on her...in a good way for once.
    @baldmax How did turn out??

    Good for her. I would steer clear of airweights because they are notoriously hard to shoot accurately, especially for a beginner. My first choice would be an LCR, preferably a .357 because the .38 is part alloy as opposed to the steel .357.
