Yep. Classic bullies. They are stunned when someone calmly but firmly says 'No'.
I stay calm till they escalate, and then I escalate at the same rate. I used to make scenes everywhere I went.:lmfao:

I carried a coffee once in the groceey and sipped it the whole time, you could take it off while eating. The manager followed me and kicked me out after check out!

I gotta admit they are becoming fewer and fewer. I did see a young guy wearing one here in town not long ago…outside…walking by himself.

Actually. I think Imma buy some masks. My allergies are getting worse and by the time I’m done mowing the snot factory is running at full capacity. I hear the n-95’s are less restrictive for breathing now. I think they’ll be affective for blocking pollen. Viruses? Nah. Pollen? hopefully.

Masks would've helped when half of Canada was on fire.

Not so fast. The CDC actually came out and said masks did no good to protect yourself from smoke. (Smoke particles are much, much larger than a covid virus particle, by the way).
I remember hearing the particles were large enough masks would've been effective. Oh well, I have asthma now thanks to the Canuck's non-controlled burn.

I’ve got to find a way to keep track of these handy facts for future reference. The internet changes fast and old information is sometimes impossible to find again later.

I do remember them announcing that masks (probably the magical, pandemic ending super weapon) would not help keep one safe from the wildfire smoke. Here’s one graphic I found—it’s not the one I remember seeing at the time. Clearly, if surgical mask would be ineffective agains smoke particles, it would also be ineffective against viruses.

Even a gas mask that I spent WAY too much time wearing back in the day was ineffective against smoke. The crap in the air along with the smoke is what was larger.

Ironically, that initial advice, for COVID 19, was correct. When it was thought that it was spread by body fluids, masks were helpful to a degree. Unfortunately for the CDC, the government and all of the Left, we knew the virus was spread by airborne transmission very early on, making that advice meaningless (or misinformation as the Left likes to call it).
