Drove out to the farm today to shoot the AR I bought last Sunday. Not the greatest group but since I had never shot an AR before, was shooting from a wobbly old picnic table, and it was VERY windy, I am happy.:yesway: All were shot from about 30 yards.

I mounted a set of ProMag flip up sights (yes... I know their polymer). No adjustment was needed with the front sight and only a small amount needed on the rear. The string on the right is a rapid fire group. I don't focus well on the rear sight, all I see is a blurry circle.:n00b: Next up is a red dot scope. Looking at the Vortex Strike Fire.

Not too shabby, looks like you had a good time! Just out of curiosity what is a good grouping. I know from the bench with the AR on a bag or bi-pod it should be around 1 MOA or lower, but from a prone or standing position what is a good MOA?
