Those lottery winners didn’t have it. So even if you have money, it takes at least some entrepreneurial savvy to turn the order of magnitude. So credit where credit is due. He’s no Elon Musk. But he ain’t a loser either.
Agreed. But some seem to think that "lucky sperm" is enough.

It’s harder to start from zero and make a fortune than to start rich and make more fortune.
I do not know if indeed that is true. If it was why do most inherited businesses fail by the third generation? Seems more like a convenient way to disparage those that had the opportunity. Business does not grow itself it must be managed to grow.

Tell that to all the lottery winners that went bankrupt in short order... :):
They had no experience with business or handling that type of money.

Trump literally grew up in the real estate business.

I'm not saying it was all luck. I'm saying that sperms in millionaire real-estate developer households have an easier time of it than sperms that grew up in the trailer park. They more luckier.

Some of us have a more balanced view and don't need to wipe our chins.

I'm not saying he didn't do anything, I'm saying that he had one hell of a head start. Lucky sperm, indeed. It's easier to make billions when you already have millions.
What your saying is pretty much exactly what progressives say about your 'white privilege', that the circumstances of your birth give/gave you an 'unfair' advantage. It only differs in degree and it's still bull****

There’s a second generation. But. You either have “it” or you don’t. And if you do have it, it’s anywhere from a lot to a little. musk has way more of “it” than Trump has. But this truth social deal worked out well for Trump. Mostly because there are fanbois. I mean, when you post they’re called “truths”? Welp. It’s the world that is. But glad it worked out for him.
