They say absolutely no money for his wall and then they say if you reopen the government we will negotiate. We all know they really wont do **** because Democrats are lying ****bags. They always do this. However I think as president trump is really trying to work with them. They will refuse to do that and he will build the wall anyways. I was already hoping he would declare a national emergency. But I dont have all of his lawyers who know what he can legally do or not. Maybe they are still drawing it up? Let's give the man a chamce and see.

Doubtful. The president blinked, and took credit for ending the shutdown. In three weeks if he shuts down the govt again, I fully expect the democrats to stymie him once again. You'd think he wouldn't be so stupid as to challenge Pelosi again on this issue, but alas, I don't think he's smart enough to understand this.

The first story on AP is, "Trump ends shutdown, signs bill to reopen government." Stop right there. WHO ended the shutdown? TRUMP ended the shutdown. Not Pelosi. Not Schumer. Trump. He is in control. HE is calling the shots.

Also, as of right now what reason does Pelosi have to deny him access to give his state of the union speech? Uh..., none! So if she doesn't rescind her pettiness how does she look? And if she does, which she should, well... There is nothing to stop him from saying whatever he wants addressing her and the nation. He wins on the SOTU!

And now, the democrats know that he is willing to shut down the government for a good period of time. So, what pressure will they be under to negotiate in good faith? If Pres Trump is presenting an offer that has stuff in that they (the democrats) want, and now THEY refuse to budge on it, the next government shutdown in three (3) weeks will be, in many eyes, their fault. Granted, the TDS folks will never side with him on anything, but those in the middle who were pi***d at him will now turn their anger on the democrats for not letting things get back to normal.

As I see it Pres Trump didn't score a touchdown but he did score three (3) points for a field goal.

This could be what TRUMP plans to use as he has mentioned in the past that he can use military to build the WALL<FENCE<ect. Exactly right. One of the best things we could do for this country is to get people off the government teat. Save taxpayers a bundle and get people to feel some confidence about themselves as they WORK for their money and become productive members of society.
