Found this video on another site.
    It's really sad and frustrating.

The young mother has a print out of TSA's own rules on how to transport breast milk (ie. their is an alternative option as oppose to it being x-ray) and TSA REFUSES to follow it's own rules even after they are show their own rules! The lady misses her flight after waiting more than 40 mins before they "deal" with her. :faint:

-EDITED to replace "break" with "breast" due to type-o. Thanks Tryin' for pointing it out.

Here's the scary part, before you drift off to sleep tonight, try to answer the question of whether we can vote ourselves out of this tyranny.

    +1

given what you have to do and say to win either of the two partys primaries,,,not a chance...

all were ever going to get is more and more of the same big government candidates from the two partys...

bushes medicare expansion was five times bigger than Obamacare but the REpublicans didnt say a peep over Bushcare...but Obamacare was horrible...

the other side does the same thing...

All both parties really agree on is,,bigger government!!!

wow, just, wow. In the future though leave some breast milk at home and fight this fight in the courts.

They win in the security area, if they can't win one way they will win another so she needs somewhere she can beat them legally.

lol man slowly but surely they will take away all the rights we have and people will just keep saying well if its to keep us safe i guess it's alright.

how many women have boarded a plane and tried to take it over or tried to blow it up. none not a single one. the best way to put this with what the tsa are doing is saying hey we dropped some change over here in the dark but they are looking for it in the area that has light. when you ask them if you dropped it over there in the dark why are you looking over here and they reply cause its easier to see over here. but they will never actually find the change. so instead of looking for actual terrorists, they harass law abiding citizens and slowly steal our god given rights.

aw come on, they were very generous, they gave her her own cell. Thats very generous of the overlords

personally I liked the caption "tried to appeal to [the TSA manager's] moral character" She should know better than that, anyone who violates another human beings rights for fun or money, has no "moral character".

kind of weird. but I also wonder what a breast-feeding mother was doing traveling without her child? That seems kind of weird, too.

Working mom most likely. She probably pumps milk while away from the baby to ensure that she can re-stock up the supply that she left behind for the baby while baby was in care of someone else. Not that "uncommon" for nursing mom's to do.

Here at work we have a room in the nurse's station where moms can go and "pump" @ work who are still breast feeding. It's unofficially called the "pump room" by the guys. :D

I don't understand why citizens don't have representation on site. How can we be illegally retained against our wishes by entry level employees? Who is there to argue technicalities on our behalf?

Could the woman have asked for the LEO on site? Would that have even changed anything?

On a side note..Someone needs to spellcheck the video as well, lol.,

I watched a movie some time ago called The Grey Zone. It's supposed to be a true story about a group of Jewish death camp workers who are the longest group to survive execution. Typically, they'd bring in a group to run the camps and fill the ovens for a few weeks, execute them, and then bring in another group of workers. Basically, these people were willing to kill their own people hoping it would spare their lives. This was the only group to fight back against the German prison guards. What a total shame.

It shows what human beings are willing to do to each other to spare their own lives. Our TSA workers aren't filling ovens but we see what they are willing to do to their fellow Americans for a paycheck. How long before they are used to fill the ovens? Do you think they'd refuse if threatened with their own lives? I think this is where the slippery slope argument is very valid.
