Brenda Snipes submits her resignation as Broward elections supervisor.

Must be running for President, then.
She’s laid the ground work. Time for someone else to run with the baton.

For the same reason that Pres Obama was able to get through the ACA, they (republican party) stick their damn heads in the sand (or up their...) and do NOTHING when there is a clear problem. Then when the democrats want to really do something (usually bad) they come up with some lame counter bill that is crap.

There were real and significant problems with the healthcare system in America before Pres Obama. Costs were skyrocketing way beyond standard inflation. Yet, there were hundreds of health insurance companies out there. Real, decent free market reforms could have been pushed by the republicans in order to make some good fixes, but they did nothing. This then gave Pres Obama a good platform to run on, and he won. Then of course Pres Obama attacked the wrong side of it and now we have very few insurance companies for individuals and a messed up system with costs still going up.

Now in Florida if the republicans don't push real and meaningful reforms the democrats down there will have a good platform to run on.

I really don't get it either, but it does seem to be a pattern with the republican party.

    Regards,

    Doug
