    Or not so much.
Kurdish peace 'impossible' - Turkey's Erdogan - BBC News

The Turkish president has said that Turkey cannot continue the peace process with the Kurds amid attacks by Kurdish militants on Turkish targets.
    ...
Turkey says it draws no distinction between the PKK and IS, considering them both terrorist organisations.

That's a kinda awkward non-distinction to justify, except within Turkey.

The Kurdish YPG are taking back Syrian towns one at a time, while the Assad regime keeps losing ground. Lots of women YPG fighters to be seen in this video. All front line fighters.

The SAS were busy in Syria. One of their snipers saved a father and son from execution.

ISIS threat: SAS sniper saves Syrian father and eight-year-old son from being beheaded | World | News | Daily Express

Awesome story - hope it is true.

    Because this:
The SAS marksman, using a .50 calibre sniper rifle fitted with a silencer, killed the executioner just in time.

Maybe some of the NFA gurus can explain the value of a .50 cal silencer at 1k meters.

Six members of the security forces have been killed in a series of attacks in Turkey amid rising tension between the government and Kurdish militants.

Meanwhile, a gun attack on the city's US consulate has been linked to a leftist group.

    Blurred lines.

Not really. Turkey is at war with the Kurds. ISIS gave Turkey a fig leaf so that they can talk about creating buffer/safety zones to keep ISIS away from their borders, but then proceeded to kill Kurds. Pretty clear actually.
You left out the Marxists. ;)

Iraq threatens Turkey with UN action over troop deployment - BBC News

And in other news, Iraq - our erstwhile ally - is telling Turkey - another ostensible ally - to GTFO.
Turkey deployed hundreds of its forces to the town of Bashiqa to train Iraqi Kurdish forces fighting IS.
"Iraq has the right to use all available options, including resorting to the UN Security Council if these forces are not withdrawn within 48 hours," Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said in a statement.

Officials blaming the Kurdish terrorist group for this...

Turkey car bomb hits police HQ near Diyarbakir - BBC News

A car bomb blast has hit a police headquarters in south-eastern Turkey, killing six people and wounding at least 39, officials say.
Five civilians including a baby were among the dead. Rescuers searched the rubble for survivors at the scene in Cinar district, Diyarbakir province.
Officials blamed the blast on Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) militants, who are active in the mainly Kurdish province.

An asymmetric fight against (at least) 2 different terrorist groups? That really sucks.
