AKSHUALLY yes … Shannon Watts’ White Settlement shooting tweet has people wondering if she’s REALLY that dumb

The only thing more certain than Brian Stelter getting mocked on Twitter is Shannon Watts finding a way to make a complete tool of herself every time there’s a shooting of any sort.

She really is like clockwork …

    Our Shannon Watts...:toilet2:

Church property is private property. The church could forbid all firearms on the property including license carry of firearms if they wished. Neither governor Abbot nor Attorney General Paxton nor anybody else forced the church to allow firearms on their property. This has been the law for private property ever since License Carry was adopted by Texas.

Wisely the church chose otherwise, knowing that people like the man with the shotgun, having already made the decision to murder, would ignore the church’s wishes about guns and everything else.

Shannon Watts is upset because the state of Texas will not enforce her naïve and totalitarian beliefs on churches and universities and everybody else in Texas.

To Hell with her and her kind.

Some of BBI's posts match what we saw here. BG sees you drawing your firearm it won't end well.

It is rare we see actual video of a potential mass murder stopped by armed citizens. We see what worked, and what didn't. BG had more red flags than a communist pride parade.

Agree on all counts... stay concealed until BG is distracted... never let him see it coming.

Neither good guy #1 nor #2 drew cleanly and quickly... had either, or both, the outcome likely would have been different with less loss of innocent life.

    Danka!

Texas AG was on FNC this morning touting their new church gun laws as successful. I also caught a YouTube clip (suggested by YouTube) of a national ABC newscast showing the actions of the good guys with guns stopping the bad guy. Hopefully this spreads.

It'd be nice if some talking head would tie in the NY machete terrorist attack and suggest that that could have ended differerently if those folks could have properly defended themselves.
    ^^^ THIS ^^^

They cant help but pick it up.

Will they keep talking about it is the question. If it were just a bunch killed, absolutely. Because they would be able to show that guns are evil and must be banned. In this case they are less likely because it not only doesnt fit their narrative, it shoots that narrative in the face.

And of course my token liberal anti gun friend couldnt help but chime in on Facebook:
"That is what, one out of twenty? Thirty? Not a good percentage."

I'm beginning to think he just trolls anymore. He's a pretty bright guy otherwise.

Yup, a troll, but also inadvertently makes exactly your/our point... the vast majority of the massacres that continue until the police arrive occur in GFZ's where a quick end by a good guy with a gun IS NOT POSSIBLE. It's the GFZ's that need to change.

Didn’t see His one posted got it at another site. Interview with the man who took out the active killer!

A short clip but to me it reinforces what we have here is a guy who has spent a lot of time training, not someone who thinks just having a gun is going to fix everything. Very interesting that he is saying his delay was caused by waiting for bystanders to clear out for his shot. Right guy at the right time.

Wow. Who could’ve seen something like this coming? POS should’ve been locked up with a record like that. This revolving door bs is getting people killed, but of course it’s the guns fault. Ridiculous.
I expect the violent crime rate to start increasing with all of the criminal justice reforms going on, so then coincidentally we can blame the proliferation of guns for it and push for more gun control.

Bingo. This is all deeply planned out. They know these people will continue their criminal lifestyles, yet they aren’t affected and they can push their bigger agendas, while gaining votes from their newly freed convicts. Yet, for some reason, we continue to sit back and take it on the chin.
