Basically they're saying the don't give a flip about open carry itself, they just think there are more customers that will have problems with open carry than won't and they'll lose business. Give it a couple years and the OMG factor will fade, especially in the non-big city locations.

This may be true. However, it is still them basically saying, "We like you BUT we don't want to be seen with you." If I had a friend who said that they would quickly become a former friend!

I ate What a burger on a pretty regular basis. Quick and convenient, like any fast food. I carried concealed pretty much every time, but that is what was required by law at the time. It was called a CHL then. I never felt like I was harmed, of course I have a closet full of Hawaiian shirts.

I will never give the place a dime of my money and I spend a lot of time in Texas.

I dins it odd that they are going out of their way to please the sheep as there are not many sheep at all once you leave the big city's.

We are respectfully asking that customers not bring guns into our restaurants unless they are authorized law enforcement personnel," the company said in a May 2014 statement. Sonic Drive-In and Chili's Bar & Grill issued similar statements around the same time citing customer comfort and safety concerns.

Well this will keep me and my money out of chili's
