Wow. So rather than control the means of production, they want to control the wage output of that production. Socialism and Communism don't even begin to describe this proposed system. What the heck would you call it? Theft is the best I can come up with, and I think that's disrespectful to thieves.
Don't worry. You'll get exactly what's coming to you comrade.
I'd call it serfdom.
Those Europeans love their monarchies.
I'm out of rep, but that's exactly the word I was looking for. A 21st century solution to a 14th century problem. How do the nobles collect their taxes without the peasants stealing from them.
I'd call it serfdom.
Those Europeans love their monarchies.
That's just what the govt , I mean, doctor ordered! Pay the govt for my work and then let the govt keep what it feels it needs and then the govt would send me the rest? What a good plan! My govt loves me and will see to it I am well cared for and will have a wonderfull life and will be very happy as a slave! What a crock of crap!
Ah but you see you are a Yank! (ie. American, great, great, great, great grandson of a rebel who told the crown SHOVE it!) and your line of thinking is not like that of Europe.
By such a definition, us "Yanks" are apparently pretty rare here in the US nowadays...
And heres the catch, they will have to raise taxes to pay all these people to handle checks and make sure your paying the right tax
That's not a catch, it's part of the plan. Our president would define that as job creation.
umm doesnt our government do this to us already, they take out the money on what you gross?to me its the same dam thing.
I actually approve of this. It dispenses with the fiction that the government does not lay claim to all that you own and earn, and forces folks to confront the practical reality of taxation.
You approve of it in order to wake people up, right Fletch?
