Since the U.S. foisted those treaty provisions on the rest of the world to help us in our drug war, telling them to **** off would be bad form.

The UN can butt out. I personally dont care for the stuff and could care less if its legal or not. However it is a valuable source of income for cartels and I am all for taking that revenue stream away and redirecting it to american business owners, even if they are a bunch of liberal hippies

Goes back to an earlier question I had, Do US treaties assume the same position as the US Constitution as the supreme law? And if so, then does this supersede the 10th Amendment?

I don't support legalization, but I'll take it before I'll take any UN interventions. This is the situation of individual states in my opinion. Not the Feds, not the UN.

The United Nations is actively working to create a global collectivist police state. Which is why they support drug prohibition and gun control.

Prohibition fits their agenda. It does not fit the liberty agenda.
