Yes, it's impossible to have any kind of alliance or intel sharing without the UN.

Everyone knows that. Go back to your tinfoil fadoras in your mom's basement!

Did I say we didn't? No. But then we don't get all our intel from our diplomatic relations either, do we?

No, we get a good amount of it through the CIA, NSA and other intelligence agencies. The UN wasn't designed for intel gathering. If that were its purpose, I doubt many nations would have joined.

What info do you have regarding the value of intel gathered through our UN membership?

Not a new concept

The belief that the US should get out of the UN has been around for decades but has never seemed to get much traction. I can't imagine why. I'm inclined to believe we are handicapped by the UN rather than assisted in our intel gathering efforts. Perhaps membership opens doors which might otherwise be closed but I still think we should get out and toss them out. Let them see how well they do without US involvement.

I do doubt it will ever happen. To much invested in the one world one governemnt philosiphy to stop now. I have yet to meet a politician with the balls to stand up for what is right, even when they know what is right.
