How unfortunate that they had to kill all of those animals. Sad.
Yeah, bad on having to kill the critters. I'm definately not a PITA person but it's really a shame that they had to kill most of them. God have mercy on the owner too. Things must be terribly wrong for him to have harmed himself and before hand released these beasts.
Yep. It used to date Lindsay Lohan, so...And the Monkey has herpes?!
Sheriff's Deputy Jonathan Merry was among the first to respond Tuesday. He said he shot a number of animals, including a gray wolf and a black bear. He said the bear charged him and he fired his pistol, killing it with one shot when it was about 7 feet away.
Last I heard a wolf and a monkey were still loose. The monkey was seen riding the wolf and yelling "Get your hands off me, you damn dirty Humans"
I have to wonder how many of these kills were due to officers placing themselves in a bad location. Sort of like a cop jumping in front of a moving car to justify shooting it, we see it from time to time.

So I'm sure tactical reloads are a part of any good officers training, what about tactical underwear changes?

....... Could he really have thought turning them loose would be beneficial in any way?
The news stated that the guy who owned these animals had been released from prison recently, serving time on Federal weapons charges. I have not heard what those charges were or what he was convicted of? Anyone know what they were?
