Yea we could have moved line but I was shopping for a elderly person and needed trash stickers so I had to go to the register not the uscan. I saw the rig and didn't think anything about it till he grabbed the gun. The gal infront of him had to put her purchase on 3 or 4 different cards so it was a slow trans action. He wanted to escalate it but not in Walmart.
I got behind him because custom leather and nice 1911 usually means they respect what they have.

I have identified the root of the problem. :):

As a fat guy I love shoulder holsters, they're the most comfortable for me. But I'd never wear one openly, I'd be too embarrassed, James Bond I'm not. And 'touching your gun' in public is NEVER appropriate.

Was the guy a new gun owner? Who knows. The leather was a nice custom rig my guess a couple hundred dollars. The 1911 was very nice what I could see of it either a Kimber or Colt. The guy was in his late 50's early 60's. He was well dressed in western wear with high end boots.

Expensive stuff doesn't make you smart with it.

Sounds like a guy who may have had the shoulder rig for sometime, along with the bed side gun he never carries in it. He shot it plenty that one time after he bought it, put 2 whole clips through it. But you know, there's a crisis going on and someone may try to steal your hand sanitizer. So, maybe not a new gun owner, but new at carrying in public.
