Thank you to all who serve! It is an honor to stand beside you.

If you get a chance, tell someone who served thanks in person today

6 years in the Army. 3 years in the Infantry in a light division. Spent some time deployed to Honduras and Panama during the late 80's. Operations Golden Pheasant and Just Cause. Spent some time operating out of LCM's (landing craft) which is fairly unusual for the Army.

Thanks to all that have served! Had a chance to share a beer with some guys from work tonight. I was the odd man out (civilian) but was great to see them all connecting, even though none of them served together.

US Navy 1983 - 2003. Aircraft mechanic, 3 overseas deployments on 3 different aircraft carriers, USS Forestall, USS John F Kennedy, USS Enterprise. Loved what I did, always felt I had a purpose for what I did. Not quite the same feeling now that I am out and working to make a living in business. I never thought of the Navy as a job.

Thank you to all of our veterans for choosing to serve this great nation. We would not still be here today without you.

Correct, Camp Rose 3 miles from DMZ. Correct again, but not much left of Cave Town.
When I was 16 I ended up in a funeral procession on its way to Cave Town cemetery. I was on a tractor. On an unrelated note I grew up about a mile or so from there, the other side of Clifty Creek.
