I was in GM the other day and their ammo prices went way up. Speer Lawman 9mm that they used to sell for $12.99 is now $14.99.

No problem, I buy from Walmart anyway...

Oops. Federal Champion that has been $10.47 forever is now $11.97. That's a $1.50 or a 10% increase.

    WWB 100 ct. is $24.99. Was $23.49.

Lady working the dept. said that they were told back in March that prices were going up. Finally happened I guess...

Remington UMC in the bulk pack was in the low $50's. TulAmmo 9mm was still under $10.

I remember a few years ago when you could get Federal 550 round boxes of .22lr hollow points for $9.95/box, what happened to those days. Don't get me wrong, still the cheapest round to shoot.

Walmart in noblesville and fishers still has the federal champion 9mm for $10.47. Picked up a few boxes from both earlier today when I was out running errands.

Someone bought so much that I had to reach back in the back to get me a box lol. I was there today too. It was like $11.20 total cost.

I know there inconsistent. I bought a box of WWB the other day it was marked for 22.99 and it rang up as 24.99. The box before that was at a different Walmart. It was marked at 23.99 and rang up for 22.99.

.22 firearms are looking better and better........ I like .22s, but centerfire is what I love to shoot............ Getting to be EXPENSIVE!

Which is why I'm going to build a .22lr trainer for my remington 700... I'm going to get a remington 40x .22 barreled action and build it up into an exact replica of my .308, excluding glass(Don't need 25x magnification to shoot 100-200 yards with a .22)

I was just in Fishers 96th St Wal-Mart, last thursday talking to Terry the sales associate and saw my 9mm and .40 Fed had not gone up............I will stop by again today and see if it has. I live on the $15 .40 Federal Champion and anything over $15 would be inevitable but suck stil the same. Rockville Rd (Avon) "HAD" Winchester White Box 180 gr .40 at $11.99 a box and I would go in each bi monthly pay day and get 4-5 boxes, then they cought on to me and it went up 1 May to $19.99 a box .........talk about a good thing gone bad?!?

Come on guys!! You know we have been told that inflation is virtually non existent.(at least by the creative accounting techniques used by the current administration). Anybody here get a 1o% raise that counteracts these price hikes? :dunno:...........didn't think so.
Sheesh....I'm getting sarcastic these days. Okay, rant over.
