The wife and I are watching GhostBusters on AMC. We have decided that the best movies were made in the 80s.

    HeartBreak Ridge
    Full Metal Jacket
    GhostBusters
Raiders of the Lost ArkStar Wars (I know the original was in the 70s)
Quigley Down Under (actually 1990 but I will give it a pass)
    Top Gun

I have to add "48 Hours", "Predator, and "Black Rain" to you 80's list; 3 of my favorites.

How bout the Rutger Hauer classics, The Hitcher and Wanted: Dead or Alive.

Or Gene Simmons as the bad guy in Runaway.

I also enjoyed the Fred Dryer vehicle, Death Before Dishonor.

I would say the 80s is the decade with the worst movies that are still enjoyable to watch. I mean, Commando, Missing in Action, Delta Force, etc aren't exactly paragons of great filmmaking, but I still watch them ever time they are on.
