Only issue with those dump trucks is feeding them. Might get 3mpg or less lol
That's probably true hauling 10-15 tons but luckily, my mother in law isn't part of the bug out plan.

Don't have a bug out vehicle as I plan to stay here, but I am curious where the people bugging out are going and what they plan to do when they get there.
Gasoline will be in much higher demand than diesel is my guess. While most will be heading towards a warmer climate, I'm staying put. ~15 miles from my front door to permanent location.
If the S really hits the fan there will be no power. The fuel (diesel/gasoline) will only be accessible by those who are smart enough to get it and while not blowing the whole place off the map. It will be in the ground waiting.......on us.

Oh, I’m bugging to Indiucky’s place, I’ll bring more bourbon, and all the cigars!
Yeah, but the preppers will make fun of you driving a short bus!International school bus with a T444(7.3) GVWR 25,500 and currently weighs 11,500. 13mpg on a 2300 mile trip. Less than 100k on drivetrain. School seats are gone. 35 gallon factory tank and custom 100 gallon tank between frame rails behind axle. Has a new paint job now. Total cost under 3k.
Living in a very rural country area with a whole house generator/550 fuel tank and we are on a well we would probably "bug in", but if we did have to get out we would each take a well supplied vehicle...
Awesome YJ!!!!! Spook!!!! would love to find a nice YJ!!!Here’s mine it’s a 88 wrangler. Rebuilt it from the ground up myself. 4.2 liter with a AX15 behind it. Installed an SYE kit on the transfer case and installed air lockers front and rear.

Building a door mount for my 1919
dont worry I took care of the electrical issue for the emps. Love my Weber carbs. Didn’t leave a single bolt unturned in the past 3 years working on it. I know her inside and out. Got rid of what she didn’t need and got what she needed.
