    Vickers edition Glock 17 or S&W 1911.

Nothing fit's my hand like the 1911, however, the 1911 has been carried much less since I've got used to the Glock 17. More ammo, night sights, lighter weight, and it mounts a light. I never would have got used to it were it not for the Vickers edition rough texture (I hate the feel of normal Glocks) and the Vogel trigger the PO put in, plus the trigger guard under cut I did so the stupid finger grooves would line up right...

ive carried several different guns over the years,
    charter arms undercover 38spl
    ruger P90DC 45acp
    glock 27 40SW
    norinco 1911 45acp

by far, the 1911 "hides" better on me than any of the others.

I am switching guns allot here recently. Been carrying my P365 allot as it is just so small and lightweight while still having a decent capacity for a micro-9.

Or I will be carrying one of my Dan Wessons with an extra magazine, then for late night walks there is always my 360PD J-Frame loaded with Gold Dot 357 magnum

I felt this thread needed more pictures, also does a USPSA limited class rig count as "Open Carry"? :rockwoot:

Mostly Sig P250SC 9mm here with the compact mag w/extender IWB. Sometimes my work attire requires a little more concealment and I will carry a P238 IWB. Once in a blue moon I carry my Sig 1911 Scorpion carry.

I have carried my Sig P250c for 6 years now. I ventured to the Glock 26 then G19. Went back to 250 then tried LC9. No matter which direction I go, 250 is my go to. I have several other Sigs, just love the smooth double action of it.

Browning HiPower, Kramer Scabbard, 2 extra mags is my typical pistol setup. The HiPower has no mag disconnect, Trijicon sights, C&S hammer, sear, and spring kit, and has been cerakoted.

Sometimes if I don't like what the day looks like I'll carry 4 extra mags.

Preferred? A commander sized 1911. Mine happens to be in 9mm but .45 is good as well. The gun that sees the most carry is a single stack, compact 9mm. I always go back to the Classic Walther PPS but Glock 43 or Shield would work as well. I hate to admit it but those small 9mm are still big enough to shoot well and small enough not to be to much of an inconvenience.

Glock 43 migrating to a Shield 2.0 9mm in a hybrid IWB (Galco King Tuk) -- I say migrating as I have been putting rounds through the Shield, and in process of buying extra mags and a King Tuk for it (have all this gear for the 43 already).

Other times, M&P Compact 2.0 9mm, hybrid IWB (Galco King Tuk) (migrated from Glock 19 to the 2.0 Compact about a year ago).

    Trijicon HD's for sights.
