Still got to load up some more moly coated A-Max's if I get some good results to test different charge weights, but so far here are 3 of my loads that I'm going to test for bullet efficiency. Hopefully no fliers. Whichever has the tightest group at 300 yards wins.

Might get some Varget powder to see if I can get some better results. Goal is a good 1,000 yard .308 load. I need one that is going to still get good velocity without sacrificing accuracy.

My loads from left to right.

    168gr A-Max Moly Coated bullets
    43gr of H4895
    Winchester Primers
    Military brass

    168gr A-Max bullets
    43gr of H4895
    Winchester Primers
    Hornady Nickel plated brass

    168gr Sierra Matchking bullets
    43gr of H4895
    Winchester Primers
    Hornady Nickel plated brass

Yesterday i loaded 200 rounds of .40 180 gr powerbond bullets on top of 7 grains of HS6 and federal primers.

Later today i will possibly be showing a buddy how to reload so he will hopefully catch the bug, he shoots 9 so maybe not but both our SO's shoot .380 so :dunno:

Charles, those are some good looking .40's.

One question: Do you dump the box full onto a towel or something when you get ready to charge your mags.??

It would drive me nuts trying to pick up those out of the box, with the "Ball" end up??HA HA...Bill..

They aren't that bad in the middle for some reason, the ones on the edge are a pain. These are going to be put back for a while, I have some empty boxes that will be for range use.

Just loaded and shot some .223 subsonics. Very quiet with my YHM Phantom suppressor.

Here is the load if anyone is interested. By the way, they won't cycle in an AR
    55 grain Hornady Vmax
    4 grains Trailboss
    CCI Magnum small rifle primers
Little tuft of poly fill (had a few bad experiences with squibs...not one since using poly fill)

Finally got to go try some different loads for my .45 ACP, and shot some of my first .40 S&W reloads. Now I just need to make some more up, to go shoot some more! :rockwoot: :ar15:

I am heading to the basement to finish up a batch of .45ACP , using Tula primers, 200 gr. HP X-Treme bullets, with 5.0gr. Titegroup. But will probably go to the club today with one of my 9mm.

Finally got to the range yesterday.
Took the .22-250, one of the AR's, and the Garand.
Managed to take out one of the sky screen rods on the chronograph :ugh:
Other than that it was a good day.

Casted up some more 9mm this morning. Still trying to find the magic load. Had some keyholing the first time out. Sized them slightly larger this time and adjusted the powder charge. Going back out today to test.

I took my 1911 40 super conversion to the range. I have new brass, primers, and bullets but I'm saving up up for a set of reloading dies as far as I can tell redding is the only one who makes them.
