What do you carry in your 9mm for defense?

I was able to snag a bag of 500 pulled 124gr Gold Dots a while back, and have been working on a carry load with those as well. I had some good results with one particular trial load, so plan to load a larger quantity up and get some more range time with them.

In my EDC, KelTec PF9, I carry standard pressure Federal Classic 9BP's or the Fiocchi Extrema XTP's - both 115gr. The old Federal 9BP's used to be all L.E. needed to carry and I tend to agree.

I carry the 9BPs also. They are reasonably priced, so I'm not reluctant to shoot a magazine full at the range once in a while, and they shoot very much like my range ammo.

I have not had much luck with cor-bon dependability. Even though i understand they have improved the quality in past years I still just don't buy the stuff. I have a pretty good supply of Aguila IQ that my P7-M13 likes so that's what i shoot for now. Not having the mis fortune of shooting a person I couldn't attest to the knock down power but I'm sure it's gonna hurt.

Remember Any gun and any load at all that you have on you when needed is better than the best best gun and ammo left at home.

124 gr Gold dots. Wouldn't mind to try some federal HST's if I could find any.

147gr Winchesters, the primary reason is that my follow up shots are much quicker than with 124gr loads.
