I know he moved to Cleveland, but he was still posting for a while. Then one day he up a vanished like a fart in the wind.

Apparently you have to be an inmate who'd run the asylum if you had the chance to be considered "cool". I had no problems with anyone mentioned here, but if the homeowner asks (or requires) you to take your shoes off before coming in, you should probably do it or risk being asked to leave (or at least be left feeling unwelcome). If you keep coming in with your shoes on, well...
