In the warmer months, I carry a Glock 19. In the winter, I carry a Smith & Wesson 1066 10mm for more penetration and stopping power through heavier clothes and jackets

I agree. Used to be G26 with XS Big Dots. Now full time CZ P-01 from here on out

I'm too stupid to remember what gun I happen to have on me the day that the SHTF. Do I flip off a safety or not? Are my sights 3-dots or triangles? My gun just jammed, do I drop a mag or swing out a cylinder? Do I need to reload after those 5 shots or can I keep going?

I personally prefer the simplicity of a single gun.

Mine matters on the weather. If its warm out I'll carry my PX4 Storm Sub-Compact 9mm, and if its cold out I carry my full size SW99 .40

Everyday carry for me is one or more of these:

    Kimber Compact Stainless II
    CZ 75 Compact in 9mm
    Sig P238

Sometimes I'll carry one of these if the situation demands it:

Ultra Carry II - When concealment is needed and a big caliber is wanted
Bersa 45UC - When working in the garage
Bersa 380CC - Junk yard trips

Except for the Bersa 380CC, all of the above have a very similar manual of arms. All have thumb safeties, all have the slide locks and mag releases in the same place.
