    Well, I'm Jewish, not Christian. The Talmud certainly lays out the protection of the right of self defense, referencing Exodus 22:3, in saying that you have every right to defend yourself against someone that intends to harm you. No real mincing words in "If someone comes to kill you, rise up and kill him

    Yeah, thought the admonishment was to kill first (as to say while you still can). Quite the opposite from laying in wait (i.e., criminal homicide).

    If somebody wants to meet Jesus based on a criminal's time table, so be it.

    If one wants to stick around and not have that timetable called by a criminal, so be it.

    Know total pacifist Christians, and others that choose to protect themselves, their loves ones and property.

    I always question the pacifists.....if they are lazy, wimpy or of some martyr mentality.
