What is the most frivolous reason you ever bought a handgun?

I have been caught by cute. In more ways than a firearm.

I picked up a Poseidon. 45 suppressor for $99 on sale, so of course I had to buy a 1911 with a threaded barrel.

I'm out of State and get a call from SO,"If I can get a Kimber for under 500, may I buy it?". So, there's that.

I've wanted to get one. Absolutely no idea why either. Too long for a pistol, too short for any kind of carbine. It's a very niche gun, but I really want one. Thanks a lot Steve McQueen and Firefly.

Would getting a P210 be too frivolous....

I believe the rules of the universe say that if the opportunity to buy one and the funds are available at the same time, the purchase must be made. And rules are rules, so it can’t be frivolous.

Frivolous or not... it happened and I don't feel bad about it.

Nothing to say but that I may have violated that rule a few years ago and let one slip away.

I just realized I did it too. Could have gone this route last month and I forgot about the P210 and bought another Witness instead. Crap. Maybe next year.
