I'll add a Stevens favorite .22 single shot with octagonal barrel and a Winchester 1911 SL `12 gauge auto. Maybe not rare but the 1911 is rated one of the worst shotguns ever made. I disagree.

I’ve got all kinds of oddballs! Some may not be rare, but you don’t see many today. One neat one is a single shot bolt action Husqvarna in .32/20. It’s basically a Mauser 71 action but scaled way down. Octagon barrel and two leaf flip sights.
one really rare one I have is kind of a cheat because it’s custom. It’s a 16” barreled Remington Model 8 in .35 Remington. Not your normal barrel shortening job because of the barrel jacket, recoil spring etc. one of my favorite rifle for sure!

Not really rare, just really cool to me. My grandfather’s 410 single shot, he bought it from Belknap Hardware and it was delivered by the mailman, manufactured by The Volunteer Arms Company of Tennessee.

Mine is probably my Birthier cavalry rifle in 8mm Lebel. It's an attic rescue. The empty clip drops out the bottom when inserting the loaded clip. During WWI, when troops in the trenches would set their rifles in the mud while shooting, mud would clog that hole, so the door was added. I hunted for the spring that keeps the trap door closed, but that part is a unicorn. The screw that keeps the 2 piece bolt together is interesting.

Dad had one of those Mossberg bolt action 20ga with a detachable magazine and poly choke when I was young. Habit was to keep it choked all the way down and didn't know at the time that made it kick worse. Had a sharply pointed stock that didn't fit me right and would always leave a horrible bruise. Shot many many boxes of clays with it. Made me think if 20ga was that bad I'd never want a 12ga. He sold it at a yard sale.

My Remington 7615P. 5.56/.223, AR mags. Pump action, based upon a 20 gauge 870 receiver. Wilson ghost ring sights. Added the Luepold 2x scope and Warne QD rings this year. Got it 10 years ago. Many INGO members have shot it over the years at various meet and shoots.

I'm naturally a collector for weird firearms. I don't think I have any really rare stuff, they might be so I'll include them. Please post pictures and share your weird and rare!!! Heck, include the ugliest firearms too!

I'll start out with some rare, well what doesn't readily show up on gunbroker anyways.

This first one I call the Mandalorian. It's a Glock 34, well kinda. Only about 5% of its total components are plastic. The frame itself is a CCF frame. Some years back CCF made stainless, aluminum and titatium frames for Glock. They have since closed their doors. Every now and then one of the old frames will pop up on gunbroker.

next for rare is my Glock 17T (blue) and 17R (red). The 17T are somewhat common but the 17Rs are a little harder to come by.

Next is the Hudson H9. They're not extremely rare, but not common either. Even though it turned out to be a big flop it does shoot rather well. Picked it up right as the company went under, for the price I couldn't pass it up.

to start my unusual guns is the Ideal Conceal "cell phone" gun. While not super practical for carrying, I believe it has a lot of potential. Shooting/operating is actually quite pleasing for what it is. Very easily hides in plain sight. little side to side with the lifecard. Lifecard is a neat little gun too, but the overall operation of deploying, loading, and firing are horrible.

Next oddball is the Freedom Ordnance FM9. As far as I know, it is the only belt fed 9mm. It's a lot of fun to dump a few boxes of ammo. And yes it is a legal SBR..

For weird and ugly is the Altor 9mm... I don't have much to say other than it looks like a hot glue gun and is miserable to shoot. But kudos to the designer for designing an inexpensive working firearm with minimal components.

And for the downright ugliest gun in my entire collection at a whopping 45 dollars. Haskell JS-45.. Pure beauty. From my understanding, they were the precursors to the hipoints. Trust me, its as heavy as it looks

The Altor looks like a bet was made. "I bet you can't make a gun out of these leftover parts". Lol. Nice collection!
