I'm not sure Post Quality Index is the best name for it though. Heck, if you just post stuff everybody agrees with you'll get rep.

Most of my posts are quality posts rather than one-word or smiley posts, but not everybody agrees with me.

Meh. It's fun and interesting and nerdy. And as someone else commented, I don't think it's really an indicator of how high quality your posts are. Quality is extremely subjective.
