A day out in the middle of the woods doing nothing is still WAY better than a day in the city doing ANYthing!!!

Wow, 600 F4, you're really packing! Never dedicated a trip up to the refuge but a friend goes there all the time. I am only up to 70-200 2.8 with a 2.0 extender. I can get out there but not in the neighborhood your talking. Got some pretty good Nikon stuff (D300/D700 and some fast glass) Mostly shoot waterfalls and scenics. Wildlife don't cooperate for me. Guess I'm to impatient! Great pics by the way! You a pro?
