What Superstitions Do You Sheepishly "believe in"

I tend to touch the outside of most any "vehicle" (car, plane, whatever) before entering as well. I do it to discharge static electricity.

Papaw told me his mom, my great grandmother, who was a midwife, prepped dead bodies for viewing, and gathered herbs for home remedies would hang a quilt over every mirror in the house where a body was to be shown before burial.....
