For you guys who carry Olights in the baton series, how do you keep them from turning on when you don't want it? I have the 2AA version and it was next to impossible to avoid the side switch from being pressed, regardless of where or how I carried it.

The newer versions have a raised lip around the switch that older models didn't have. Time will tell if this becomes an issue with mine, I sure hope not.

I have the option of spinning the clip to cover the switch which should help if it becomes an issue.

For the sake of brevity, my primary carry/use light is a Fenix UC35. Overall, considering performance, reliability, features, and cost, it's the best light on the market.

When I carry it is the Fenix LD12. For a single AA that is plenty bright the battery life is excellent with a rechargeable Eneloop, and it is lite. I have brighter but they are heavier and bigger.

I bought this one ^^^^ at Meijer in 2011 just to get me by until I could afford something better. I work at night and use it every day. It's been dropped too many times to count. Still works perfect. I started carrying it everywhere about 3 years ago. Absolute best bang for your dollar.

    One of these...

280Lm on a plain old AA, or 500Lm for 1 minute on a 14500 Li-ion, then drops back to 280Lm.

Fenix PD35 in my purse. I use it about 3x weekly for a few minutes and the battery has stayed adequately charged for 14 months now.

Streamlight (micro?) I kept in my pocket or car but lost that recently

I also keep a tiny light on my keychain that is handy for quick use.

Streamlight stylus pro. I use it for work and I never leave home without it. Super bright, AAA's and a great no questions asked warranty, My tool man just sent one back for warranty after 3 yrs of use and it was beat up.
