    I've decided it would be best to be proactive from now on. I'm simply going to kick the walker out from under the door greeter as I leave. That way they won't ask for my receipt as they'll be occupied.

    It's just who he is. Don't judge him, he's far superior to you. Just ignore his condescending arrogance like everyone else. If not, just admire his mastery of referring to himself in the third person. Or laugh like everyone else. Your choice.
